After assessing available information and discussing the evolving situation with the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Singapore Board of Governors, major sponsors and other stakeholders, AmCham Singapore has decided to postpone the AmChams of Asia Pacific (AAP) Business Summit 2020, which was to be held in Singapore on March 11 and 12. AmCham Singapore will be hosting the event next year in March/April.
On Friday, February 7, the Singapore Ministry of Health raised the Disease Outbreak Response System Condition (DORSCON) alert from Yellow to Orange. This means that they are advising event organizers to cancel or defer non-essential large-scale events.
